Anna & Patrick’s Countryside Wedding At The Little Fox

Childhood sweethearts say ‘I Do’ to the charming Little Fox in Thornton Hough for their family focussed big day…

It must have been written in the stars when former school mates Patrick (Paddy) and Anna met up again on – you guessed it, St Patricks night!

Several years and a couple of little darlings later, the loved-up pair decided to tie the knot surrounded by family and friends at one of Wirral’s most charming country boltholes – The Little Fox in Thornton Hough.

The Venue

‘We knew we wanted somewhere a bit different,’ said Anna. ‘We’ve been to so many weddings on the Wirral, often at the same venues and really wanted somewhere local but fresh. The minute we stepped inside the Little Fox we knew it was the place for us so it was actually the first and only venue we viewed!’

The couple opted for a simple, classic look with the official wedding pantone ‘colour of the year’ highlighted by the stunning Miss Piggy roses which made an appearance in both the bouquets and table flowers as well as in the buttonholes.

Bride Tribe

Anna had a whole tribe of close friends and sister Louise for bridesmaids as well as the couple’s adorable little princesses Alysia and Sienna as flower girls. The older girls wore stunning coral gown from Dorothy Perkins adding a gorgeous splash of colour to the day.

The brides stunning tresses were styled to perfection by multi-award winning bridal specialist Leigh Jordan while Sammy Tebay worked her magic on the bridesmaids.

That all important wedding day glow came courtesy of MUA Cathy of First Class Features and we must say the final result was quite stunning.

The Dress

‘I fell in love with my dress the second I tried it on,’ said Anna. ‘I discovered it at the lovely Elegance Bridal in Higher Bebington. Lisa and her team are just amazing, they made the whole process so enjoyable; their dresses are just beautiful and Lisa is a top-class seamstress too so made the dress fit as though it were made for me.’

The Boys

Paddy and dapper groom’s team looked the part in sharp, royal blue three piece suits from Suits Direct.

The Flowers

Anna loves flowers, so blooms became a bit part of the overall look on the day. All the fresh flowers, beautiful bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and gorgeous cake topper were created by the super-talented Jane from No14 The Flower Shop in Bebington.

The amazing images came courtesy of Jenn Garlick. A super-creative wedding photography expert, Jennifer was able to turn a bad weather day into some terrific shots by thinking outside of the box with her locations and putting the couple massively at ease with her relaxed and unobtrusive approach.

The Reception

‘We cannot thank Louise and the team at the Little fox enough for all their help and support, ‘said Paddy. ‘The reception was everything we had dreamed of. The food was superb; all fresh, local produce and lots of it so nobody went hungry!’

‘The night-time was just one big party which was exactly what we wanted. ASG entertainment who provided both the DJ and lighting were absolutely superb and the party went off with a bang!’

‘We think that because the Little Fox is one big room, this really helps the party atmosphere. There is still plenty of room for the people who don’t want to join in but it also helps the dancefloor feel buzzing all night,’

So how would you describe your day in three words then guys?

Not very original we know but best way to sum it up in three words…

The couple then went on to enjoy a romantic honeymoon on the white isle of Ibiza before spending a few days away with the children.

We would like to wish Anna & Paddy lots of love for their future and thank them for letting us cover their gorgeous big-day!
