Rustic Winter Wedding Inspo At The Mouse
Winter weddings are becoming ever more popular. From twinkly lights and the soft glow of candles to warm rich berry colours and cosy textures – a winter wedding can be truly magical.
We teamed with some of Wirral’s loveliest suppliers for an impromptu winter shoot at the unbelievably charming The Mouse At Brimstage and fell in love with this romantic little venue – we think you will too!
Part of the four hundred year old Brimstage Courtyard complex, The Mouse oozes rustic charm. From its quirky decor and and quaint spaces to the myriad of twinkly lights, its the perfect venue for a relaxed, countryside wedding for up to 60 daytime and 120 evening guests.
Its stunning orangarie transforms from a bright, airy space by day to a magical space for dancing and drinking by night and the delightful garden is glorious in the spring and summer months and the perfect spot for a fire-pit on colder nights.
We were joined by some super-talented suppliers for out little shoot including the amazing Sharon from Coverstory Weddings and Events, the flower geniuses that are Leaf In Heswall, stationery guru Cheryl from Pink Sherbet Stationery and our favourite cake designer Natalie from Natalie’s Cakes & Bakes.
Our models hair was styled to perfection by North West Bridal hairdresser of the year Leigh Jordan from Debra Alfa Salon and their look was perfected by one of the UK’s top bridal make-up specialists Cathryn Kerwin-Rawlinson aka Made Up By Cathryn.
Bellissima Brides of Brimstage
The gorgeous gowns were provided by fellow Brimstage residents Bellissima Brides.
Our bride Gemma wore a stunning Essence of Australia gown with intricate lace sleeves and a glorious train and our bridesmaid Libby wore a gorgeous Hayley Paige Occasions dress in a deep berry red.
Brimstage is becoming something of a wedding hot-spot on Wirral now with the highly acclaimed Deborah Alfa Hair and Beauty (home to our very own Leigh Jordan), Bellissima Brides and The Mouse all offering exceptional quality and superb service for couples from across the region.
Our ‘mini-Mouse’ shoot was captured by the lovely Arthur Gold at Goldsnapper who made the whole thing an absolute joy.
Several glasses of fizz, a pile of locally sourced sausages (who doesn’t love a sausage) and several thousand calories of delicious cake courtesy of Natalie later and impromptu shoot has turned into an impromptu Christmas party!
Danni and het team at The Mouse were the perfect hosts and we loved sampling some of the delicious canapés from the new wedding menus. A perfect evening in a perfect spot – whats not to love!
